Health Care Shut Down

President Bush has vetoed a bill sensitively called "kid's health bill". The President had previously warned Congress he would veto that type of bill. The President has previously used his veto powers on other bills, such as ending the war in Iraq and stem cell research.

Hillary Clinton, a big supporter of universal health care, was disappointed. She was quick to critize Bush quite harshly, calling the move a war on science.

The Chicago Tribune suggests that American taxpayers would rather pay for children's health insurance than the war in Iraq.

I don't mind paying for children's health insurance. I believe the tax on tobacco is not sustainable; consequently, other ways of paying for this is going to have to be found. Those who think this is a good way to pay for this program will evenutally help pay for it. Who makes $80,000 a year and doesn't have health insurance?

The child care bill is a joke, get the facts. Nice Bush Bash Blog.

Regarding cig tax, if they keep raising it more people will quit smoking, then they will have no money. They say they want people to quit...But they love taxing them and telling them where they can't smoke.

I think they should have a FAT tax.
Tax fat people for child health care, there will be more of them than smokers. They cost the health system more money also.

Smokers pay the cig tax until they die and that's money paid into the health system. Once they are dead they are no cost to the system. It's a pay as you go program.

Fat people don't get taxed and just cost the health system...So you tell me which is fair?

I would love to see Hillary answer that one.

It's amazing how fast we forget 9/11. Big Bill was in charge before we got the second dose...don't forget that! Please don't have the Hilbilly's back in the White House again! The house is clean now.

Hillary is bag of wind with the same old story all the time.
She has a big mouth and no accomplishments to her credit. She reminds me of her Hubby, a whole lot of wind!

The Democratic Ohio caucuas has had enough of her also.

I sign anonymous because the Demo Hillary lovers are dangerous people.

Move On, Why Can’t Hillary just Move On?

While watching the other candidates strut their stuff before the Iowa Caucus, one candidate stands out and requires no further introduction. Her record is clear indisputable and try as she might, she can’t Move On past it, neither can we. The media wing of her campaign will come out as soon as practical as they smear, insult and disgust their way into radio reports and political events. Until then, they have to stay under wraps as they don’t represent the warm and oh so delightful Hillary Clinton as she has become this week. MoveOn.org has taken a low profile, just as she has. Why as delicate, hopeful, fresh faced and wholesome as Hillary has become, who would have believed that her minions, currently called MoveOn.org could bring us a thing like the full page “General Betray us” page of the New York Times. Now that we are on the subject of Hillary and her minions, there are other things we need to thank her for before she simply MovesOn.
