New Crisis For Bush and Nation: 3 Massacres in Iraq

Bush is facing another crisis in Iraq today, The Times is reporting. Now three investigations are going on to probe U.S. servicemen/women and their connection with atrocities in Iraq. That story is here. The alleged Haditha massacre is said to have taken place in al-Haditha in November 2005 and 24 Iraqi citizens were killed. March 2006, in al-Ishaqi, American soldiers allegedly rounded up and shot 11 unarmed civilians, including five children and four women. On April 26, 2006, allegedly seven Marines and a Navy corpsman killed an Iraqi citizen. They are facing possible charges of murder, kidnapping and conspiracy.
