President Bush Gets Shoes Thrown At Him In Iraq

This is all over the Internet and we are all loving it! President Bush was the target of the shoes of an angry Iraqi reporter. The culture in Iraq says that throwing shoes at someone shows contempt for that person. Despite the insult, Bush went on to tout the good he has brought and Iraq. He claimed only a small minority are angry or want attention. Hmmmm...

I don't think throwing shoes at our president is very respectful. Which means you are a disrespectful pathetic person.

I don't think invading a country in order to steal other people's oil, killing thousands and thousands of innocent women and children, breaking all possible national and international laws, and taking pervert pornographic pictures from prisoners is very respectful. Which means you are a disrespectful pathetic person.

So keep them throwing!

You are obviously uninformed.
What oil did we get. That must be why are oil prices were so high. You are very ignorant. I will be interested to see how you liberals squirm when something in this administration goes wrong. Will you blame O'bama. Probably not, you're great at blaming someone else for everything. Let me guess, you are some uninformed teenager who believes anything anyone tells you. Good luck with that!

This is a shameful act. This is an insult to the American people, not just to George Bush. Terrible to think that someone would be happy to see OUR president assaulted. No matter how much you like or dislike our president, the office itself, should be respected. Be a proud American.

It makes me sick to think that there are citizens of this country that believe this is something to be happy about...we are all subject administrations and policy we disagree with...we should never agree with any foriegn national to threaten or disgrace the office ot the presidency in any circumstance. I never want to see this happen to any of our great leaders past present and future. There is no benefit to condoning this behavior as a citizen of the United States of America. We have sacrificed so many lives to protect the "freedom of Speech" by peaceful means.

As a christian Iraqi, I am embarrassed by the acts of this so called journalist. However, I cant thank Bush enough for what he has done for Iraq, of course it was a mess and chaotic for a couple of years but that is normal. You people have no idea how it felt living under Saddam Hussein. Christians where very limited under that regime. People lived in constant fear, if someone did not like you, they could report you to one of his many security divisions and those people never took chances, you would be dead. Families had to hide their daughters from his rapist sons who would roam the streets, the malls, the nightclubs and if he saw someone who they wanted irrespective of age, marriage status they would rape her. Thats just a fraction of the stuff that happened.

I want to say I am proud of what President George W. Bush has done for us and our country.Anyone who thinks or says different should be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel to have taken over what he did when he went in office ? Again I am proud of him .I have got his back anytime. Look what we had to vote for this time. Not me I did't vote !Nothing to chose from ! God Bless you President Bush !!!

I served in Iraq and I saw the war up close and personal. Im tired of people blaming George Bush for the war...Bush was only acting on the information given to him by the CIA. When I was in Iraq one thing was abundantly clear...Saddam was the true weapon of mass destruction. I heard stories from Iraqi's telling me the most horrific stories about what that man did to his own people. People always asked me if the Iraqi people want us there. The one's that are legetimate law abiding citizens want us there cuz they are protected. The one's that want us out are the one's that are ready to pick up where Saddam left off.
